Will Perez achieve his goals in the summer Mercato?
He wants to Florentino PerezThe president of “Real Madrid” and a candidate for the same position in the upcoming elections, signed 3 names in the upcoming summer transfer period, including the former target of rival “Barcelona”.
Peres is currently busy with his election campaign as he competes with the other candidate, Enrique Riquelme, amid a bitter conflict between the two parties, full of accusations and mutual criticism.
Both candidates were keen to show their plans for the future of the new Real Madrid, especially as big deals are always an important element of attraction during election campaigns.
Both parties have promised to sign big names next summer. Although the names have not been officially revealed, journalist Juanma Castaño has published the names of the 3 players on Perez’s roster.
Castaño said on his Radio COPE program “El Partizazo” that “Florentino Perez has not yet spoken publicly about sporting matters and I don’t know if he will in the coming weeks, but he has many important names in mind. I don’t know whether he will reveal them during the pre-election campaign or not.”
He added that Perez admires PSG midfielder Joao Neves and Inter Milan defender Bastoni, and wants to bring back Osasuna’s Victor Munoz, for whom Real have a relatively easy buy-out clause in his contract.
Notably, Perez is keen to sign Bastoni, who was until recently a target for Barcelona, but the Catalan club have dropped their interest in signing the player, especially as the player insists on staying with the Italian league champions.
