Former Real Madrid star Ivan Helguera has said that he is worried about the possibility of appointing Jose Mourinho as the coach of the Royal team next season.
Helguera spent eight seasons with Real Madrid between 1999 and 2007 and still keeps a close eye on what happens in the Real Madrid dressing room at the age of 51.
AS newspaper have published excerpts from Helguera’s interview with Flashscore about Alvaro Arbeloa’s tenure and the possibility of Mourinho coming in, an option he doesn’t think is entirely relevant.
“From a coach like Xabi Alonso, who was stricter at the beginning, not having the strictness of behavior or leading the group means that anything goes,” Helguera explained.
“Arbeloa, in my opinion, bears most of the responsibility, as well as who appointed him to this position,” he added.
