This sound card can give gamers a competitive edge

Fosi Audio has announced a new sound card today with a special feature designed for FPS gamers. The C3 Gaming Sound Cardwhich sits outside your PC or laptop and connects with a USB-C cable, includes the company’s StepSense “sound amplification technology” powered by a brand that was “trained for FPS audio content.” When StepSense is turned on, sounds that give off opponents, such as footsteps or noises, are enhanced so that they are not interrupted by the mixing of the game.

For competitive gamers who want every advantage they can get, the features alone can justify the $129.99 C3, which is now available through Fosi’s online store. But it is not the only supplement. It also works as a headphone amp connected to a 3.5mm audio cable, or you can call wired speakers using its stereo RCA output. There is a 3.5mm microphone jack, and sliders. One is the volume control, where it controls the level of the microphone.

Other features include microphone noise canceling to silence other sounds in your gaming room, support for 7.1 spatial audio, and additional enhancements and adjustable EQs available through a browser-based interface so you don’t have to install an app. In addition to PCs, the C3 is compatible with consoles including Sony’s PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
