The final trailer for Disclosure Day features Spielberg himself

Universal Pictures has released the final trailer for Disclosure Daydirector Steven Spielberg’s much-anticipated return to the “strangers among us” summer blockbuster roots. And the director is very visible, giving his opinion on the presence of aliens between the scenes of the film.

According to the official statement: “When you find out that we are not alone, if someone shows you, proves you, will that scare you? This summer, the truth is for 7 billion people. We are close to… The Day of Revelation.”

David Koepp, who has worked with Spielberg on many projects (incl Jurassic Park and World War), wrote the screenplay, while John Williams wrote the script. Emily Blunt stars as a TV meteorologist in Kansas City. Starring Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, Wyatt Russell, Elizabeth Marvel, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Michael Gaston, and Mckenna Bridger. Professional wrestlers Chavo Guerrero Jr., Lance Archer, and Brian Cage will also appear.

So far, Universal has kept the plot information private for its commercials. The first trailer dropped at the Super Bowl and basically just told what happened. A the second carriage that was released in March revealed enough information to help us better understand what the film is about: the government’s long-standing conspiracy to keep the existence of aliens a secret – i.e., “79 years of criminal lies.” But the aliens don’t seem to want to be a secret anymore, and there are a few allies who want to sabotage the plan, especially Daniel Kellner (O’Connor).
