After a flood of complaints about Google Health app which has just replaced Fitbit, Google has responded with a list of change which will start from this week.
Google is responding to some of the biggest complaints that users had, such as the Today Dashboard that can display user-selected metrics in the top half of the screen. Soon, Google says it will “make it easier to customize your current and Health settings so you can edit metrics within them or add or remove metrics.”
Google Health is also adding some missing features and lifestyle changes, such as viewing food, produce, and logging, so you can add your favorite foods to your logs. The Today and Health tabs are getting hourly step charts, and a new 24-hour display will show more sleep and sleep.
Google’s AI trainer is one of the new divisive features. One person he asked why they “now have to go through AI slop passages” to see their health information, but others, like Seasideand David Piercethey say they are already receiving helpful advice and information.
