The French forward has won the award for the second season in a row
Real Madrid announced that French forward Kylian Mbappe won the “Best Player of the Season” award in the ranks of Merengue in the 2025-2026 season.
Real Madrid are coming off a second successive clean sheet and have seen plenty of dressing room turmoil this season.
“Real Madrid” issued an official statement, which says: “Kilian Mbappe received the award for the best football player of the year for the 2025/2026 season of Real Madrid.
The French striker received this honor after leading the list of the best scorers in the Spanish league with 25 goals and winning the Pichichi top scorer award.
Mbappe also became the best scorer of the Champions League with 15 goals.
This season, Mbappe’s total number of goals reached 42 goals in 44 games.
Mbappe won Real Madrid’s player of the month award 4 times this season, and also won the player of the season award for the second time in a row.
It is noteworthy that Mbappe joined Real Madrid for free in the summer of 2024 after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.
