Luke Littler has offered the Prince of Wales tickets to make his debut at Alexandra Palace later this year after chatting Darts at Windsor Castle.
Littler collected an MBE for his contribution to sport last Tuesday after being told by Prince William that the World Darts Championships “looked like a good night” at the lively north London venue.
The 19-year-old – who will be looking to regain the Premier League darts crown on Thursday night’s final, Live on Sky Sports from 7pm – also admitted that visiting the royal residence was a surreal experience.

“Prince William said he was following the journey and we were just talking about how the darts flew,” Littler said.
“He himself said it looked like a good night, so maybe we’ll see Prince William at the Alley Pally this year!
“I haven’t invited him, but if he needs a few tickets I’m sure myself or the PDC will pick some up.
“Turning up to Windsor Castle, it was just like … ‘How am I here? Why am I here?’. It was a crazy experience. And then you have to think about what I did just for the game.

“Obviously they don’t usually come to people that young, but for what I’ve done for my sport, it’s incredible and the notice has been great.”

Littler was booed when his name was announced during his walk-on at Sheffield United in the Premier League.
Littler returns to Ochs on Thursday’s Premier League final night and plans to “let his darts do the talking” if he faces any heckling from The O2 crowd.
The world No.1 was booed at Alexandra Palace in December and has also been teased in European competitions alongside Liverpool, Brighton and Sheffield.
His nearest rival Luke Humphries believes the animosity is because “everybody wants to knock someone who’s doing well” – and Littler has his response ready if it happens again.

“The only way to deal with it is to put your head down and win – and that’s what I did,” he said.
“I’ve kept winning, kept winning, and I’ve really got the hang of it now for Thursday. If it comes down to the podium, then the darts will do the talking.”
Littler and Humphries have met in the last two Premier League finals, with the Warrington star losing his title to ‘Cool Hand’ last year.

Littler has set another record for winning three nights in a row in the Premier League
The rivals will reportedly meet again in the final and Littler will be content to negotiate with semi-final opponent Gerwin Price and reach the showpiece of the competition for the third consecutive year.
“If I can make three finals in a row, I’ll be happy, but I’ll try to beat Gezi first,” he said.
“Some people want to see me against Luke in the final, some people might say it’s a bit boring now – Luke and Luke.

Humphries checked out after a 132 and 146 from Littler
“But if we both win, if we both get to the final, one and two, nobody can do anything about it.
“We’ve shared most of the majors over the last two years, but let’s see what happens on Thursday.”
