Jamie Vardy: Former Leicester and England striker Jamie Vardy has left Cremonese

Former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has decided to leave Cremonese when his contract expires this summer.

The 39-year-old scored seven goals and provided three assists in 29 appearances, but it was not enough to save the Italian side from relegation.

It is understood Vardy is still enjoying his football and believes he can continue playing at a higher level, including the Premier League, with Dutch side Feyenoord among the clubs showing interest this summer.

Vardy scored 200 goals in 500 games for Leicester, famously winning the Premier League and the FA Cup, and is regarded as one of the club’s greatest ever players.

He also scored seven goals in 26 appearances for England and was part of the Three Lions squads for Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup.
