Tyson Fury has announced that his next fight will take place in Dublin on Saturday 1 August.
Fury’s warm-up fight – with an opponent yet to be announced – will take on Albanian Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25, four months before his much-anticipated heavyweight clash with Anthony Joshua in November.
Frank Warren – who told Sky Sports that Fury’s next opponent will be announced this week – already has an IBO super-lightweight fight between Pierce O’Leary and Mark Chamberlain scheduled for August 1 in Dublin, suggesting Fury will join the card.

Fury posted a video on Instagram on Tuesday showing him back in training in Thailand.
The caption read “Let’s go August 1, Dublin, Ireland”.
Warren said Fury will face a good opponent and cannot afford to slip up.

“(Joshua) has got to come through (the fight with Preng), Tyson has got to come through, and then the big one will be in November,” the Queensbury chief told Sky Sports.
Fury’s last fight was a comprehensive points win over Russia’s Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 11 April.
