Prisoners in a Venezuelan prison have protested that they have been mistreated.

While Enjuba is not one of the prisons where the majority of political prisoners are held, the Committee for the Liberation of Political Prisoners of Venezuela has expressed its solidarity with the use of “punishment, starvation, solitary confinement, torture and inhumane practices” to control and subjugate prisoners and “part of the prison policy”.
