Manchester City’s big tribute to their legends
“Manchester City” honored two of its legends this Sunday evening after the game of “Aston Villa” in the final round of the English Premier League.
“Manchester City” lost (2-1) to “Aston Villa” at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday evening, but after the end of the match there were scenes of celebration and honor.

The trio of Guardiola, Stones and Silva received a standing ovation from the Manchester City fans and the players of the Paradise team, be it during the match itself or afterwards.
Manchester City’s players staged a walk of honor to honor Guardiola, his coaching staff, Stones and Bernardo Silva to celebrate ten successful years at the Etihad Stadium.
The surprise came in honor of two Manchester City legends, Ilkay Gundogan and goalkeeper Ederson, following their departures at the start of the current season without much acclaim at the Etihad Stadium.
Gundogan appeared first, walked down the aisle, was greeted by the Manchester City fans and received a special plaque from Guardiola in honor of his achievements at Manchester City.
Gundogan, who moved to Galatasaray earlier this season, said: “I can only express my deepest gratitude from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much for eight wonderful years. You gave me everything.”
He added: “You gave me everything I could ever want in my career and in my life. You are my family. This is my home. It has been a great honor for me. Thank you very much.”
The same applies to the Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, who has received great honor from his teammates, Guardiola, and the fans of “Citizens”.
Ederson, who spent 8 years in Manchester City, moved to Fenerbahce at the beginning of the current season.
After being honored at the Etihad Stadium, the Brazilian said: “It’s great to come back here and say goodbye to everyone, the players, the coaching staff and the fans.”
“My mind is still full of titles and years spent here. I’m really grateful to Manchester City and everyone who owns the club.
