Rumors of Jose Mourinho’s possible return to Real Madrid invaded the Barcelona camp on the closing night of La Liga, where the Catalan side lost 3-1 against Valencia.
In the post-match press conference, the question was raised about Flick’s willingness to face Mourinho should the deal be completed, and Real Madrid announced the appointment of Alvaro Arbeloa as his successor.
Flick did not hesitate to explain that the identity of the man in the front seat would not change his approach.
He emphasized. “Of course I am ready to face Mourinho. Why not, he’s a coach like any coach and I’m always ready for anyone,” Goal.com reports.

Mourinho himself is no stranger to Barcelona, having previously worked as an assistant at the Camp Nou under Bobby Robson and Louis van Gaal.
Real Madrid is expected to announce the appointment of a Portuguese coach in the coming weeks.
After yesterday’s defeat, Barcelona’s balance rested on 94 points at the top of the La Liga table, and the Catalan side clinched the title against rivals Madrid, where they won the Clasico 2-0 in round 35.
