Liverpool fans bid farewell to their Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in touching and touching words hours before his final game for the team.

Liverpool posted a video on their Facebook account that included direct messages to Salah from fans on the street.

Comments were made in many languages, the most prominent being: “Mo Salah, you are one of the best footballers ever to play for Liverpool”, “You came and gave the best years of your career to this club and gave us moments we will never forget” and “He is an incredible player”.

Among the comments was also included: “All I want to say is thank you for doing it in red” and “not just the trophies but your hard work and contribution to this club and this city.”

Salah will bid farewell to the fans at Brentford’s game at Anfield this Sunday evening to end the Premier League season knowing the Reds need at least a draw to secure their place in next season’s Champions League.
