Basketball: England men’s and women’s 3×3 teams reach Commonwealth Games

England’s 3×3 men’s and women’s basketball teams have reached the Commonwealth Games after coming through the home nations qualification tournament.

Hosts Scotland have already qualified, with teams from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man taking part in the two-day event at the National Basketball Performance Center in Manchester.

After winning all their group games, England’s men beat Northern Ireland 21-9 in a spirited final to book their place in Glasgow and reclaim the title they won at Birmingham 2022.

Birmingham’s silver medalist women – were similarly unbeaten in the group stage and beat Wales 21-11 in the final.
