The Portuguese star led Al-Alam to victory in the Saudi Arabian League last season
Al-Nasr Club has started to outline its preparation map for the new season 2026-2027 after the historic crowning of the Saudi Roshen League title last season.
Al-Nasr won the Saudi League after a seven-year absence yesterday, Thursday, after beating Damascus 4-1 in the 34th and final round to move two points ahead of second-placed Al-Hilal.
The Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiah reported that the management of Al-Nasr has identified 3 stages in the plan to prepare for the new season, the first of which will be in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
This phase continues for 12 days, during which the local players undergo medicals and undergo physical training before the second phase begins in Abhay.
The third round will take place in Portugal, the birthplace of leader Cristiano Ronaldo, and will be joined by international players after qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals with their national teams.
Al-Nasr will play 4 or 5 friendly matches against some foreign teams in the foreign camp before taking the last vacation before the start of the new season.
Al-Nasr are aiming to win the Saudi Roshan League title for the second consecutive season, as well as the elite AFC Champions League title for the first time in the club’s history, after returning to compete in the competition next season.
