The Electoral Commission of “Real Madrid” unanimously approved his candidacy Florentino Perez will lead the clubAfter reviewing all the submitted documents and making sure that they comply with the conditions stipulated in the club charter.
“Real Madrid” in a statement published on its official website says: “The electoral committee of the club held a session under the chairmanship of Jose Manuel de Carlos Grau, and the duties of the secretary were assumed by Juan Raul Castellanos Tarago.”
He added: “The Electoral Commission recorded the presentation of Eduardo Fernandez de Blas, representative of Florentino Pérez Rodríguez’s list, club president candidate and member of the General Assembly No. 1484, to the Electoral Commission with the nomination papers.”
He continued. “Peres’ candidacy documents included a letter of application and a list of electoral roll members, accompanied by signatures and clear endorsements of all members, in addition to an electoral program postmarked May 22, 2026.”
The Committee confirmed that Perez does not require a prior bank guarantee, as the aforementioned list is not required to do so, as provided for in Article 40.C.5 of the Real Madrid Club Statutes.
The commission has clarified that it has studied in detail the candidacy file submitted within the deadline set by the law and made sure that it meets all the requirements stipulated by the current electoral regulations and other legal provisions.
The Commission unanimously declared the validity of the list presented by Eduardo Fernández de Blas led by Florentino Pérez Rodríguez, in accordance with Articles 40 B and C of the club’s current statutes, notification of acceptance was sent to the list by email of its representative.
