Tulsi Gabbard to resign as US intelligence chief | Story

Tulsi Gabbard is resigning from her job as the head of National Intelligence for the President of the United States, Donald Trump, according to a resignation letter posted on her X account.

In her resignation letter, Gabbard told Trump she was “very grateful for the trust you have placed in me and the opportunity to lead the Office of the Director of National Intelligence for the past year and a half”.

She also cited her husband’s recent diagnosis of bone cancer as the reason for her resignation.
