Pep Guardiola has left: Man City has confirmed that he has left the coach after 10 years


Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed he will leave the club after Sunday’s final game of the season.

Guardiola has led City to 15 major trophies, including six Premier League titles, in 10 seasons in the top flight.

The 55-year-old will face his last game Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.

BBC Sport reported on Monday Preparing to leave Guardiola One year before the end of the contract.

“Don’t ask me why I’m leaving,” Guardiola said. “There is no reason, but inside, I know it’s my time.

“Nothing is eternal. If it was, I would be here. It will be eternal. Feelings, people, memories, love for me. Manchester City.”

Ex Chelsea Enzo Maresca, who worked under Guardiola at City, is the frontrunner to replace the 55-year-old.

During Guardiola’s 10 years at City, City won 17 major trophies and 20 trophies, including six Premier League titles, the Champions League, three FA Cups and five EFL Cups.
