Red eye… Pogba warns Real Madrid players against Mourinho

“Monaco” star Paul Pogba has spoken about playing for “Manchester United” under Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho is set to take charge of Real Madrid for a second term after his first spell (2010 to 2013) was not without controversy with some players such as Iker Casillas, Mesut Ozil, Pepe and Sergio Ramos.

“Sport” newspaper and “Madrid Universal” website published Pogba’s statements when he was on The Bridge podcast, where he recalled his memories with Mourinho.

Pogba said Mourinho was special, funny and comforting to the players, but he used emotional control in the dressing room to impose his authority.

He added: “If Mourinho feels that you are trying to surpass him or want to surpass him, he will quickly put you in your place.”

He continued. “I didn’t mind not being the star of Manchester United. I just wanted to win with my goals and dribbles.
