The Portuguese star won his first title as part of “Al-Alami”.
Saudi journalist Khaled Al-Shanif praised the Al-Nasr club and its Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo, believing that it won the strongest league championship in the history of Saudi football.
Al-Nasr won the Saudi League titleon Thursday, after beating Damascus 4-1 in the last round of thirty-four, where they took their tally to 86 points, two points ahead of second-placed Al Hilal.
Al-Shenef said during the “Dorina Gear” program. “Ronaldo lifts the league trophy, the strongest in the history of Saudi football”.
“This is my opinion. Some may disagree or some may agree, but it’s the strongest league because it’s the third season (in the star-grabbing era) and the strongest version in which the competition was very high.”
Notably, Al-Nasr won the Saudi League title for the first time after a seven-year absence, making it the first title under Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo since he joined their ranks in January 2023.
