Why are young men attracted to the prediction markets?

Prediction markets hit many of the key needs of men. Professor Elvira Bollatt from Bournemouth University said: “(They) seem to sit at the intersection of several male-dominated online cultures such as sports betting, crypto-speculation, ‘finance bro’ culture, streaming and influencer fans, meme investing and competitive online prediction communities.”
