Bungie is moving forward Destiny 2. The studio announced Thursday that it’s rolling out the game’s final major update on June 9 as its focus “turns to a new beginning for Bungie.” After the last update, the game will be unplayable, just like the first one The future. “Most of the changes in this last update will require this verification Destiny 2 it’s a welcome place for players to come back,” said Bungie.
The announcement post they have more information about what will be added in this final update, and until soon after the launch, Bungie will share more information about the update. But after that, its weekly series “will be heading back into the winter,” and the studio says it will have more stories. The future“You will be the first to know.” Bungie released the first one The future – his biggest bet after all Hello – in 2014, and it was established Destiny 2 in 2017.
The studio isn’t leaving the social scene, however. Earlier this year, Bungie released a rocket launcher Marathonand while it was never as big as Destiny 2 in its heyday, the game was well received. But it seems that the next title of the studio will be new and not in The future the environment. “The unknown can sometimes feel wild, even scary at times, but the opportunity to explore the future is exciting,” says Bungie. “As we look to the future, our commitment remains the same: to make games we, and you, are excited to play.”
