The Italian giants are chasing Thiago Silva with a farewell offer

The Brazilian veteran got it Thiago Silva An offer to end his football career in the Italian league.

According to ESPN, Thiago Silva has received an offer from AC Milan to end his football career with the Rossoneri after announcing that the player’s contract with Porto will not be renewed.

The network noted that AC Milan’s offer includes signing Silva to a one-year contract until June 2027 and ending his career in the Italian league.

The Brazilian defender has officially become a free agent after opting not to stay in Portugal, although there is an option to automatically extend his contract with Porto for another season.

The 41-year-old currently prefers to enjoy some time off with his family, relax a bit and watch the World Cup matches before quietly deciding on the next step in his successful football career.

Milan is considered the most likely destination for the player if he decides to stay on the pitch, especially as he is considered one of the icons of the Italian club, where he played for three seasons in 2009-2010, 2010-2011 and 2011-2012, in addition to his strong partnership with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Other options on the table for the Brazilian defender include ending his professional career and completing his studies in order to obtain the necessary coaching licenses to become a coach in England, where he already has an offer to work in Chelsea’s administrative and technical structure, which he presented from 2020 to 2024.
