Mohamed Wehbi selects 28 players to trial in camp… and ignores Youssef Al-Nusairi.

Morocco coach Mohamed Uebe has released his roster as he prepares to take part in a training camp at the Mohamed VI complex in his final training camp ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

And he announced Morocco The 28-man list, however, did not include regular names such as Yacin Bunu, Ashraf Hakimi and Ibrahim Diaz, while emerging talent Ayoub Bouadi was included for the first time.

The list also included a number of faces, most notably Egypt’s Al-Ahly player Youssef Bellamy and 2025 Africa Cup of Nations standout Ayoub El Kaabi, as well as youngster Othman Maama, whose star shined at the Youth World Cup.

But there are no other names on the list, such as Youssef Al-Nusairi, who is suffering with the Saudi Arabian Federation.

Webb seems to want to try out these names in order to select the best of them for a final roster of 26 players that will include the Atlas Lions starting lineup.

While preparing for the World Cup, the Moroccan team will play two friendly matches with Burundi and Madagascar.

The Moroccan national team plays in Group C, which includes Brazil, Scotland and Haiti.
