The new Flipper One is a Linux pocket computer

The Flipper One is also packed with connections including PCIe, SATA, and USB 3.0 connectors, two ethernet ports, and an M.2 slot that can expand its capabilities with modules that add cellular connectivity, or Flipper Zero functions like NFC and RFID. Instead of needing a mouse, Flipper One’s user interface can be controlled using a built-in D-pad and a group of customizable buttons, but the panel behind it doesn’t complete the user interface, or the device itself.

Despite being announced today, the Flipper One is not yet available for sale or pre-order. The reason the company revealed the device that it is not ready to sell is because it wants to solicit feedback from developers before finalizing the devices. The the company created a website detailing the development of Flipper One where the community can also provide ideas and suggestions on how to improve it. Flipper co-founder and CEO Pavel Zhovner hopes to launch a Kickstarter for the device later this year, priced at around $350. According to Gizmodo.
