US tax authorities are barred from pursuing claims against Donald Trump, some members of his family and the Trump Organization. The pledge is part of a rare new agreement between the US president and the US Department of Justice announced yesterday. In this episode, Sarah and Anthony look at the implications of the deal, which includes the creation of a nearly £1.8 billion fund for “justice” for alleged victims and supporters of the president who have been unfairly accused. Also this week, Donald Trump continues to purge primaries across the US of those he sees as disloyal in the Republican Party.
