The Croatian midfielder is close to missing the match against Damac

“Al-Nasr” club received 3 pleasant surprises hours before the crucial match against “Damak” club of the Saudi Roshan League.

Al-Nasr will host Damak at Al-Awal Park Stadium on Thursday.Thirty-fourth in the last round of Rushen League.

Less than 48 hours after the game, Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya confirmed the trio of Abdul-Ilah Al-Omari, Abdullah Al-Khaibari and French winger Kingsley Coman as fit after recovering from various injuries.

Al-Omari and Al-Khaibar missed the team’s last match against Japan’s Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League 2nd Final, which Al-Alami lost 0-1, with Koeman coming off the bench as a substitute.

The newspaper explained that the three players took part in group training sessions, which Al-Nasr went through on Tuesday, to prepare for the Damascus match, to ensure their readiness to participate.

It comes at a time when Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is close to missing the match in Damascus due to an injury that also ruled him out of the Asian Championship final.

Brozovic may not be the only absentee, as he may be accompanied by another midfielder. Brazilian Angelo took part in a group session before also undergoing treatment at the club’s clinic.

Notably, Al-Nasr lead the Saudi league with 83 points, two points behind second-placed Al-Hilal, and need a win over Damak regardless of the result of the Al-Hilal-Al-Fayha match to officially crown.
