Al-Fateh team coach Portuguese Jose Gomez has revealed his candidate to win the Saudi Arabian League title between Al-Nasr and Al-Hilal this season.

Gomes is set to play his final match of the season with Al-Fateh tomorrow, Thursday, when they host Al-Khulud in the thirty-fourth and final round of the Roshen League.

“I think that the victory is the closest to the championship, but in football everything happens that is contrary to expectations, Gomes said.

Al-Nasr lead the Saudi Arabian League table with 83 points and are two points clear of second-placed Al-Hilal ahead of their last-round two matches tomorrow, Thursday.

“Al-Nasr need to beat Damak to win the Saudi League title after a seven-year absence, while Al-Hilal need to beat Al-Fayha and Al-Alami slipped in their game in the last round.

It is noteworthy that Gomez has been coaching Al-Fateh since the middle of last season, and he managed to keep them in the Roshen League for the second season in a row.
