The Channel 4 boss asked if she would apologize to the women of MAFS UK.

The CEO of Channel 4 has made the statement after BBC Panorama revealed that two women were raped and a third the victim of non-consensual sex on the set of Marriage First State (MAFS) UK.

Priya Dogra expressed “great sympathy” for the women, but said she could not comment on the specific allegations, which she said the men deny.

She believes Channel 4 has not met its duty of care to some of its contributors, and said: “Based on our knowledge at the time, we acted appropriately, swiftly and sensitively”.

Asked if she wanted to apologize to the women involved, Dogra said, “I’ve said as much as I can in the statement,” and walked away from the interview.
