Cuba has announced that the country is about to run out of oil after months of pressure from Washington.

The US cut off oil shipments from Venezuela to Cuba, then embargoed all oil.

Along with Cuba’s powerful economy, the result was power outages, resource shortages and a growing economic crisis.

Washington’s goal is to force the socialist government to open up the economy and implement political reforms.

Donald Trump threatened leaders in Havana with war.
