If you can’t decide between refresh and refresh, LG’s next monitor can solve your problem, since the UltraGear 25G590B monitor is the first to announce that it can refresh 1000Hz at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. So far, the 1,000Hz models we’ve seen are only capable of 720p, but the 24.5-inch IPS display has no limits, as the company says it’s ready to compete in esports (whether in FPS or Excel), which require a large response.
LG didn’t reveal the 25G590B’s price or release date beyond the “second half of 2026,” but said it has a “minimalist” design, an integrated headphone hook, and customizable lighting. More information can be found on the LG website here.
Of course, there are AI-powered features, too:
The 25G590B incorporates AI gaming tools designed to enhance immersion and usability. AI Scene Optimization adds visuals and depth by intelligently adjusting scene settings according to the game’s quality, while AI Sound provides true spatial awareness and clear in-game communication (using a compatible headset). These AI-driven capabilities are paired with ultra-fast performance to create the perfect platform for competitive gaming.
