Video: Havertz’s golden head ignites London and brings Arsenal closer to the dream

The Gunners are close to glory after leaving Burnley

Arsenal continued their approach to the English Premier League title after scoring a valuable goal against Burnley in the thirty-seventh round of the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.

Germany’s Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the match in the 37th minute, taking advantage of Bukayo Sakai’s perfect corner kick and heading the ball into the net.

The win extended Arsenal’s lead at the Premier League table to 82 points from 37 matches, moving a step further away from the title dream with just one match remaining against Crystal Palace in the final round of the league.

In contrast, it occupies Manchester City Second place with 77 points from 36 matches as they prepare to face Bournemouth in the round of thirty-seven tomorrow at the Vitality Stadium before ending their campaign in the competition by taking on Aston Villa in the final round.

On the other hand, Burnley’s relegation to the English First Division was officially confirmed earlier, after their account was frozen to 21 points in nineteenth place in the table.
