Morocco star Ibrahim Diaz has sent a farewell message to his Real Madrid teammate Dani Carvajal after the club announced the Spanish captain’s retirement at the end of the current season.
“Real Madrid” said in a farewell statement to Carvajal on Monday. “Carvajal is one of only five players in the history of football to win six Champions League titles, and he was part of a team that lived through one of the greatest periods in our history.”

Ibrahim Dias wrote on his Instagram page this evening: “It was an honor to share the locker room with you, leader and friend.”
He added: “Thank you for every moment we spent together and for defending this motto with your heart and leadership.”
Real Madrid plans to honor their captain in a special way next Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the final La Liga game against Athletic Bilbao.
Carvajal wore the shirt of “Real” for 23 seasons: 10 seasons in the academy and 13 seasons in the main team.
The Spanish player has won 27 titles: 6 European Champions League championships, 6 Club World Cup championships, 5 European Super Cup championships, 4 Spanish League championships, in addition to two Copa del Rey championships and 4 Spanish Super Cup championships.
