Manchester City striker Khadijah Shaw has been named WSL Footballer of the Year following her impressive season in the Women’s Super League.
The 29-year-old scored 21 goals in 22 games to win the Golden Boot for the third consecutive season.
She won the Football Writers Association Women’s Football Player of the Year award. Earlier in May And on Sunday he was named City’s player of the season.
Affectionately known as ‘Bunnie’, she has dominated the headlines since contract renewal talks broke down and her deal was due to expire in June.
WSL Rivals Chelsea are favorites to sign Shaw. On a free contract in the summer, in high demand by clubs around the world.

England international Russo netted 13 goals in 22 matches, playing in attack and midfield, while Hanson finished third in goalscoring Shaw and Russo with 12 goals.
Manchester United’s Jess Park, Chelsea’s Alyssa Thompson, Tottenham’s Olivia Holt and Everton’s Ruby Massey are also nominated for the top prize.
