Conceicao. Luck is against “Al-Ittihad” and the mistakes of the season are not my fault.

Portugal’s Sergio Conceicao, the coach of Al-Ittihad, defends himself after the defeat against Al-Shabaab (3-2) in the match between the two sides in the 28th round of the Rushen League on Sunday night.

“I came in the middle of the season, tried to correct some mistakes and managed to eliminate Al-Nasr in the King’s Cup.

He added: “We had a setback against Al-Khulood in the semi-final, as well as some of the AFC Champions League and Rojen matches, in addition to injuries to most of the players.”

He continued his speech. “I have come in a period that does not allow me to adapt or build the team, rather I learn from mistakes and try to correct them, and I cannot be held responsible for all the mistakes of the season.”

He concluded by saying: “We remember everything that happened today to know where we have come and where we can go, and Al-Ittihad should be present in the AFC Champions League every year.
