The resurgent Phillies improved to 14-4 under interim manager Don Mattingly on Sunday afternoon, and surpassed the .500 mark, 24-23, for the first time since April 7, when Philadelphia blanked the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-0, completing a three-game sweep.
