Citing the experience of Aston Villa… Rodri warns “Arsenal”.

Manchester City’s Spanish midfielder Rodry has sent a warning message to Arsenal amid a tense battle for the Premier League title between the two sides this season.

“Arsenal” leads the Premier League standings with 79 points.two points ahead of runner-up Manchester City with two rounds to go.

In comments highlighted by English newspaper Metro, Rodri confirmed that Arsenal could still slip up in the title race with Manchester City.

Rhodri said: “Winning the FA Cup is a morale booster, but we’re not losing our composure. There are still two matches ahead and they are very important and very difficult.”

He added: “Anything can happen. We just need them (Arsenal) to drop points. It could happen in the next game or the last game.”

He continued. “But if I were them, it wouldn’t be easy to accomplish the mission. We have to hang in there and push ourselves to the end.”

When asked if he thinks Arsenal can drop points, Rodri replied: “I mean, based on our experience, we would have lost the title at home to Aston Villa in the 80th minute (in 2022).”

In the last round of the Premier League in 2022, Aston Villa went two goals ahead of Manchester City before Guardiola’s side managed to turn the tables and win (3-2) to win the Premier League by one point against Liverpool.

Rhodri concluded his statements. “So everything is possible in football. We know how difficult it is to settle things and we know how difficult it is to beat everyone in the Premier League.”
