Beau Greaves has played nine of the 10 women’s series in 2026 but PDC rules could rule her out of future events. Darts News

Beau Greaves completed another PDC Women’s Series double to claim her 55th Women’s Series crown but a wrinkle in the PDC rule book could soon end her dominance.

The 22-year-old dropped just 11 legs in her 13 matches with wins over 10-time Lakeside champion Trina Gulliver and Karolina Ratajska — wife of Poland’s No. 1 Krzysztof Ratajski.

Greaves – the only current women’s Tour card holder – is currently ranked 77th in the world, but if she were to reach the top 64 she would be ineligible to play in the women’s series under the PDC rulebook.

PDC Rule 6.2

Entry to Development Tour events and World Youth Championships and associated qualifiers is open to all players aged 23 or under and 16 or over on 4 January 2026.

Players ranked in the top 64 of the PDC World Rankings at the cut-off date of an event are not eligible to enter those Development Tour events or Women’s Series events.

By 2026 players aged 16 will be eligible to enter a Development Tour or Women’s Series event or World Youth Championship qualifier from the date of their 16th birthday.

Beau Greaves said making sporting history by becoming the first woman to win a PDC ranking title made her feel ‘absolutely over the top’.

Greaves, nicknamed ‘Beau ‘n’ Arrow’, had won 134 of her last 135 Women’s Series matches before arriving at Mattioli Arena, and she extended that staggering record with wins in events nine and ten.

The Doncaster sensation has enjoyed a stunning start to 2026, registering two nine-dart finishes. and won his first PDC Ranking title at The Players Championship 11 last month.

Greaves built on that momentum on another bumper day in the East Midlands, storming the 91-player field to continue his dominance in each event.

“For me to be able to play players that I’ve always watched growing up,” said Greaves, reflecting on his whirlwind start to the ProTour circuit.

“It was a shock for me to win a ProTour so soon. I know I can play darts, but the quality of the tour is unreal, so I thought I needed more time to settle down.

“I want to play on the European Tour and I want to qualify for some majors, but I know I have a lot of work to do.

“I’ve put myself in a position where if I continue to do well I could enter these events earlier than expected, but I’m really enjoying it.

“I love darts, I love playing darts, so it’s a bonus for me.”
