Al-Faraj’s tweet sparked widespread anger among Al-Nasr fans, who accused the Saudi journalist of deliberately showing his joy at the team’s loss of a second AFC Champions League title, despite facing the Japanese side in the final match.

Lately, there has been a tense situation between Al-Nasr fans and the Saudi media, to the point that Al-Alami legend Majed Abdullah refused to give an interview on his program due to constant attacks on the team.
