Al Hilal defender Ali Lagami has expressed his optimism about winning the Saudi League title at the expense of his former club Al Nasr in the last round.

Lagami came on as a substitute in Al Hilal’s 2-0 win over NEOMDuring their combined meeting today, Saturday, in the “Kingdom Arena” in the thirtieth and penultimate round of the Roshen League.

Al-Hilal’s victory kept their Saudi League title hopes alive until the final round, where they took their tally to 81 points, placing them second in the rankings, two points behind leaders Al-Nasr.

After the end of the game, Lagami said in the statements given to the “Eight” channel. “Thank God for the victory. We performed well today and I hope we can win the league title in the next game.”

He said about the support received from his team’s fans recently. “Thank you to the Al Hilal fans for their support, and this is not strange for them, and I hope to always live up to their expectations.”
