Women’s Six Nations: Wales v Italy – Organizers aim to avoid unwanted history

Lin said he was a “very proud guy” and no one wanted to win more than him.

“I was really upset with England’s score. Everyone was saying it was the first time we had scored four goals, but I was injured. I don’t want to lose the match, I don’t want to lose and I don’t want to go out and perform in Ireland,” he said.

Lynn added that her success at Gloucester-Hartpury – where she won three consecutive Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) – did not come overnight.

“It takes time, but I completely get the frustration out of the outsider,” he said.

“Gloucester Hartpury’s success came from hard work, it didn’t just come. Sean Lynn didn’t come on board and those results came, there were two years of hard graft before that.”

As to when Wales can expect to see results, Lynn said “I’m not putting a timeline on it”.

“What I’m saying is, we’ve got to move the dial, but other teams are moving that dial, too, so we’ve got to make sure we’re going to move it fast.”
