Groupings and tee times for the third round of the 108th PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
Defending champion Scotty Scheffler was the pre-tournament favorite to defend his crown and register a fifth major title, with the world number one sitting two shots behind halfway leaders Maverick McNally and Alex Smalley after a disappointing second-round 71.
Rory McIlroy clawed his way back into contention with an impressive Friday fightback, carding a superb bogey-free 67 that put him in prime position to challenge for his second major win of the season.
McIlroy starts on Saturday with Brooks Koepka at 4pm UK time, while Scheffler starts with Spain’s David Puig at 6.40pm and Cameron Young with Ryder Cup teammate Justin Thomas at 7pm UK time.
European favorites Justin Rose and Shane Lowry made it to the third round at three and four over respectively. The Englishman Rose starts at 2.15pm UK time, while Ireland’s Lowry starts at 1.21pm UK time.
