Surprise… Mbappe faces a huge fine from “Real”.

Real Madrid vs Oviedo witnessed an unusual moment after the match, which was represented by an exchange of statements between Kylian Mbappe and current coach Alvaro Arbeloa.

Mbappe said he did not start because the coach told him he was the fourth striker behind Mastantuno, Vinicius and Gonzalo.

He added that the question should be addressed to the coach of “Real Madrid”, because “he was ready to play in the starting team”.

This was followed by other statements in which Mbappe made it clear that Xabi Alonso would be a great coach.

The newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” reported that Mbappé’s statements could punish him by the Merengues if the club considers them malicious statements against the current coach.

As part of the serious penalties clause between the Spanish players’ association and La Liga, the agreement defines “offensive or malicious statements that go beyond the right of expression or criticism and are directed against a club or sports association, its officials, coaches or players”.

The maximum penalty can be a suspension in addition to up to 7% of the first 100,000 euros of financial deductions per month. An additional deduction of up to 4% may be applied to the portion above this amount.

Considering Mbappe’s case, Real Madrid can impose a fine of 103,000 euros if they decide to punish their French player.
