Stadium footage of the game showed Perez getting into a heated argument with a number of Real fans sitting under the Santiago Bernabeu box, with no specific reason for the altercation being made clear.

The match witnessed a generally negative atmosphere from Real Madrid fans, with a section of them booing the team bus and they continued the same in the stadium, especially against the two stars Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe.
