Defending champion Luke Humphries beat Gerwyn Price on the opening night of the Premier League season, but the pair both secured play-off places in Birmingham.
Humphries, who was in his third straight final of the night, beat Stephen Bunting 6-0 and Luke Leiter 6-3 to beat the Welshman 6-4.
The 31-year-old averaged 107 and 111 for a 100-plus average in the finals.
It guarantees a place on the final night of May 28 for the third consecutive year and caps an impressive few weeks for the world number two.
After Week 10, Humphries sat seventh in the eight-player standings and was five points off fourth before heading into Week 13.
They are now guaranteed to finish at least fourth and are third on points heading into the final league clash at Sheffield Wednesday on May 21.
Price looked comfortable after securing a second win of the night in Manchester in Week 9, but four losses in five quarter-finals left him with work to do.
He started poorly against Michael van Gerwen on Thursday but recovered well before securing his spot with victory over Gian van Ven at the O2 Arena.
It means seven-time winner van Gerwen misses out for just the third time in his career and marks the Dutchman’s second consecutive exit from the league.
He is joined by compatriot and debutant Van Veen, while Bunting’s exit is also confirmed.
