The fate of Kamavinga. Deschamps has published the list of the French national team for the World Cup

Didier Deschamps, the coach of the French national team, announced the Roosters’ roster for the finals of the 2026 World Cup on Thursday evening.

Deschamps has called up 26 players to play in his last World Cup in charge of France.

The newspaper “L’Equipe” published the Roosters list, where they witnessed the absence of Lucas Chevalier, Eduardo Kamavinga and Randal Kolo Mwani.

“I know it’s difficult for some players, but in the end the professional side prevails,” said Deschamps.

Deschamps has called up 25 players who have previously worn the shirt of the French national team, apart from just one new face, Lens goalkeeper Robin Risser.

The absence of Real Madrid star Kamavinga was a big surprise after he was a strong contender for the World Cup until recently.
