Windows Update will soon return the wrong drivers

Microsoft wants to do something about it to fix Windows 11and another feature includes managing annoying Windows Update events. When you will soon be gone stop updates foreverMicrosoft is also adding a new feature that automatically restores critical drivers installed via Windows Update.

Microsoft has developed a new “Cloud-Initiated Driver Recovery” feature that can replace a faulty driver installed on a PC with a driver that previously worked through Windows Update. Currently, Windows 11 users have to restore the driver or hardware vendors have to manually publish a new one to solve any problems, but this new feature aims to make this possible.

“When a driver is identified as having a problem with the ship’s analysis, Microsoft can now initiate a recovery in the cloud, replacing the problematic driver on the affected device without manual input from the user or the hardware partner,” explains Garrett Duchesneprincipal program manager at Microsoft.

This new version of Windows is being tested by Microsoft’s hardware partners and should start rolling out gradually in September. Microsoft is making it again Windows updates don’t interfereand you can extend the pause time as many times as you want, skip updates during the initial setup of the device, and restart or turn off the PC without installing pending updates.
