The Al Hilal captain faces harsh criticism after the Riyadh derby
The former president of the “Al-Shabaab” club called for the captain of “Al-Hilal” and the Saudi Arabian national team, Salem Al-Dosari, to be excluded from the “green” list of the final round of the 2026 World Cup.
Al-Dosari has not been at his best in recent times, most recently in the 1-1 draw with Al-Nasr in the Thirtieth Round of the Rushen League at Al-Awal Park yesterday, Tuesday, and he was even the first to be substituted.
Ahmed Al-Aqil, the former president of the “Al-Shabaab” club, said in his statements to the “Kora” program of the “Rotana Khalijiya” channel.

“Salem Al-Dosari should return to what he was in 2019, 2022 and 2023. He was very bad and he and (Karim) Benzema were not in their normal form.”
It is noteworthy that Salem Al-Dosari is the captain of the Saudi Arabian national team, and he can participate in the last World Cup of his football career, as he will be 35 years old next August.
