Trump Media Scales Back Plans for Its Own Prediction Market

In its latest filings, the company indicated that the prediction market is “still in development,” but that its offering will initially be limited to “a marketing and advertising partnership” with OG.com, a US platform for market predictions that Crypto.com launched in February 2026.

What exactly is an “advertising and advertising agreement”? Margin trading is a well-established practice in financial markets around the world, but relatively new to the prediction markets; it takes a lot of risk because it allows traders to use money they don’t have. (It’s unclear whether OG.com will release this information. When WIRED reached out to the company to ask if border selling was available, it received an email from “the OG team” stating that “border selling is not a feature.”)

The result is that at some point in the near future, the user of Truth Social can switch between reading all of Trump’s posts and borrowing a lot of money to build a World Cup team-but depending on how the “commercial and advertising agreement” is established, they may not be placing ads within the social network.
