Upgrade Your iPhone Now to Get the Best Hidden Android Apps

Last year’s release about iOS 26 it was amazing, and translucent Liquid Glass beautiful. Apple has been revising its smartphone software, although some users are continuing to do so name their displeasure. If you’re sure, this latest version – iOS 26.5 – has a new feature that’s right for updating your smartphone right now: end-to-end encryption of RCS messages.

Apple has released its latest version iPhone surgery order on Monday. The iOS 26.5 update fixes this and platform encryption in the iPhone messaging app.

How do I know if it’s on a computer?

After updating your iPhone, settings should be turned on by default if available on your device and carrier. Check your opening Favorites app, then go to Software and Messages leaves. Go down until you see it RCS messages under Text Messaging options and click on it. Here’s a page where you can see if the beta version of end-to-end encryption for RCS messages is turned on—the switch will show green as an on.

Now, you can see what kind of chat you have by opening your Messages app and finding the gray text displayed in the text box at the bottom of the screen. It will probably be read iMessage, Text Messages – RCSor SMS messages – SMS. You can see a a small lock symbol as part of a message thread by starting a new RCS discussion after this. Conversations called “SMS” are not edited.

Other changes in iOS 26.5 are minor. Based on the details of the beta release, ads may start appearing in the Maps app as search suggestions when looking for a restaurant or other location. Change of Maps program also include “Suggested Places,” which recommend places to visit based on your searches and nearby events. The latest iOS also includes Pride-themed icons, as June is just around the corner.

While it’s worth updating your iPhone to iOS 26.5 for more secure messaging, the biggest update to the smartphone’s software is coming this fall. Apple, if it follows the previous releases, is expected to reveal the updated version, iOS 27, in June on time.
